The student health insurance plan for the 2026-2027 academic year is administered by Student Insurance.

Emergency Room Visit: $100 Copayment, 80% Co-Insurance In-Network and Out-of-Network

Student Health Insurance Plan Premiums 2026-2027

The student health insurance plan covers the entire academic year. For the MCCMS policy year, the first payment will be due during fall 2026-2027 registration. Students who enroll at the start of the academic year will remain enrolled for the entire year and cannot waive during the spring term.

For Academic Year 2026-2027 (beginning July 1, 2026), the premiums will remain the same as previous academic year at $2,184/student and dependent. MCCMS will continue to pay 80% of the premium cost for each student and dependent.

MCCMS Student Vision Insurance Plan Premiums 2026-2027

The student vision insurance plan for the 2026-2027 academic year is offered through BCBSMN and administered by Student Insurance.

Vision Exam:

– In-Network
: $10 copay
– Out-of-Network: $40

Lenses:

– In-Network: $25 copay
– Out-of-Network: $40 reimbursement

Contact Lenses:

– In-Network: Plan pays up to $130 plus 15% discount on remaining costs and $25 copay for contact fitting.
– Out-of-Network: $105 reimbursement

Frames:

– In-Network: No copay: plan pays up to $130 plus 20% discount on remaining costs.
– Out-of-Network: $50 reimbursement

MCCMS Student Dental Plan

The student dental insurance plan for the 2026-2027 academic year is offered through BCBSMN and administered by Student Insurance

Deductible: $25 Individual / $75 Family

Plan Year Maximum: $1,000.00

Co-Insurance: N/A

I'm travelling abroad but not enrolled in the MCCMS Student Health plan. What are my options?

If you’re traveling abroad and not enrolled in the MCCMS Student Health Plan, you can still access coverage through the Student Travel Protection Plan.

We’ve partnered with On Call International to provide medical and travel assistance for students traveling internationally. On Call International offers immediate support and guidance if you encounter any challenges while abroad.

All full-time students are required to either enroll or waive

Maintaining comprehensive health insurance coverage is mandatory for all full-time MCCMS students. All students MUST be covered by an ACA-compliant domestic health insurance plan for the entire

All students will be required to either waive or enroll for the 2025-2026 academic year. For current students, the enroll/waiver process will begin mid-May. For incoming students, the enroll/waiver site will open in mid-June.
