The student health insurance plan covers the entire academic year. For the UMSV policy year, the first payment will be due during fall 2026-2027 registration. Students who enroll at the start of the academic year will remain enrolled for the entire year and cannot waive during the spring term.
Deductible: $150 per Member
Co-Insurance: 90%
Out-of-Pocket Max (Individual): $5,000 per Member
Office Visit: $15 Copay
Emergency Room Visit: $100 Copay (waived if admitted), then 10%
Prescription Drugs: $15 for generic / $40 for brand / $75 for non-preferred brand
